EPL: West Ham to Bid for Unsettled Shanghai Striker Anelka

In a shocking event that will rock the footballing world, newly promoted EPL side West Ham United FC are already in talks to sign Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua striker Nicolas Anelka.

The 33-year-old French striker left Chelsea FC to join the Chinese side after falling out with the Stamford Bridge management early this January.

Anelka, who has a lucrative £250,000-a-week with Shanghai Shenhua, has played under current Hammers boss Sam Allardyce at Bolton Wanderers (2006-2008).
