CL: Chelsea FC vs FC Nordsjaelland; Shakhtar vs Juventus on Dec. 6

Reigning European Champions Chelsea FC needs a miracle to go through to the knock-out stages of the Champions league from Group E but hey… ‘never say never’ as anything is possible in the world of ‘Beautiful Game’, firstly they need to beat Danish side FC Nordsjaelland at Stamford Bridge and hope that Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk do them a BIG favor by beating Italian giants Juventus at their home ground Donbass Arena on December 6.

This will be interim manager Rafa Benitez’s first match in-charge of the Blues in Champions League, senior players Frank Lampard (calf) and John Terry (knee) won’t be available while striker Daniel Sturridge with a hamstring problem is doubtful for this crucial do-or-die encounter. While in Donbass Arena, Juventus just need a draw to qualify for the Round of 16. Shakhtar Donetsk have already qualified from Group E while Juventus are in second spot with 9 points and Chelsea FC just behind with 7 points going into this Day 6 matches. Mouth-watering games await for all football fanatics.

Freddie Flintoff Wins Debut Professional Boxing Fight

Defying all his critics, former England cricket star Freddie Flintoff won his first professional boxing bout beating American Richard Dawson in the much-hype fight at the Manchester Arena, England on November 30, 2012.

The 34-year-old, who was trained by Irish boxing legend Barry McGuigan, won the fight by the narrowest of margins 39-38 despite being sent down to the canvas by his much younger 23-year-old American opponent in the second round.

The former England captain had come under lots of criticism before the fight with many calling it a publicity stunt.

Beckham Likely to Move to France; to Talk With Monaco, PSG

Footballing icon David Beckham is all set for talks with French clubs Monaco and mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain about a possible lucrative move to France after finishing his six-season stint in the United States.

The 37-year-old had announced earlier that the MLS Cup Final against Houston Dynamo on December 1 will be his last game for LA Galaxy.

Beckham has ruled out any possible move back to English Premier League and vowed to play on till the age of 40.

Sebastian Vettel to Stay F1 2012 Champion

After much speculations, motorsport's governing body FIA has stated that Red Bull’s driver Sebastian Vettel will remain Formula-1 2012 Champion. This come after a video emerged on YouTube showing Vettel overtaking Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne under yellow flag condition during last weekend Brazil F1 GP.

F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel did not do an illegal overtake in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix, FIA said in a statement.

Sebastian Vettel became the youngest F1 triple champs after finishing sixth in Brazil F1 Grand Prix and wining the Drivers' Championships with 281 points, three points ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.

F1: Sebastian Vettel World Title Likely to Be Stripped Of

Shocking updates from the Racing world, Sebastian Vettel's third Formula 1 world title could be stripped of after footage showing the Red Bull driver illegal overtaking Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne under yellow flag conditions in the early laps of the Brazil Formula 1 GP at Interlagos emerged on YouTube.

Such overtaking is outlawed and guilty parties are handed a drive-through penalty during the race. Vettel (25) won his third F1 crown after finishing sixth in Brazil F1 and beating Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, who came second, by just 3 points.

FIA, the motorsport's world governing body, have until Friday (November 30) to investigate and if found guilty then Vettel will be demoted to eighth place and will see Fernando Alonso wining the coveted Drivers Championship by a solitary point.

EPL: Chelsea Held to Goalless Draw by Fulham at Bridge; Man City Beat Wigan 2-0

It's still early days and only his second match in charge but the boos and jeers are becoming louder and louder for interim manager Rafa Benitez as Chelsea FC were held to another goalless draw at Stamford Bridge by Fulham on November 29. Blues are now winless in six of their Premier League matches and are yet to score under Rafa.

At DW Stadium, Manchester City are back to wining ways thanks to strikes from James Milner and Mario Balotelli, his first Premier League goal of the season, as they earned a well fought 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic. Roberto Mancini’s men are just a point behind eternal rivals Manchester United at the points table with 32 points.

CL: Shakhtar Striker Luiz Adriano Banned for 1-Match; To Miss Juventus Match

Shakhtar Donetsk Brazilian striker Luiz Adriano has been banned for one-match by UEFA and will miss his side match against Italian giants Juventus in their final Champions League encounter on December 6 for violation of the principles of conduct.

The 25-year-old scored a controversial 1-1 equalizer against Danish side FC Nordsjaelland on match Day 5. Following a dropped-ball, the ball was passed towards Nordsjaelland's goalkeeper but Adriano followed the pass and scored, resulting in heavy protests from the Danish players. Shakhtar Donetsk went on to win the match 5-2. UEFA has also ordered the striker to do 'one full day of community football service'.

With Nani gradually falling out of favor at Old Trafford, Sir Alex is all set to a make a shocking £12 million bid for Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt in the January transfer window.

La Liga: Messi Brace in Barcelona 4-0 Win Over Levante

Catalan giants Barcelona continues to steam-roll over their Primera Division opponents with a convincing 4-0 thrashing over Levante at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on November 26 and maintain their cent-per-cent record.

Lionel Messi scored a brace while Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas each found the net once for Tito’s men to extend their lead over eternal rivals Real Madrid to 11 points. Real Madrid were stunned 1-0 by Real Betis at Estadio Benito Villamarin on November 25, their third lost of the season.

Barcelona still tops La Liga table with 37 points followed by Atletico de Madrid on 34 points while Los Blancos are third with 26 points after 13 games.

EPL: Harry Redknapp Appointed QPR Manager

As expected, former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has been appointed Queens Park Rangers FC manager after the recent sacking of Mark Huges. Redknapp (65) is reported to have signed a 2-and-a-half-year deal, worth to be around £3 million a year.

Mark Huges assistants Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki will be in charge of QPR when they take on Manchester United in their EPL encounter at Old Trafford today (November 24) with Harry Redknapp taking over the helm from Sunday (November 25). Redknapp's first match as QPR manager will be against Sunderland on November 27.

Harry Redknapp was dismissed as Tottenham Hotspur manager in June 2012.

CL: Gunners Put 2 Goals Past Montpellier; Qualifies for Round of 16

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal has qualified for the knock-out stages of the Champions League after beating French side Montpellier 2-0 at Emirates Stadium in their Group B match played on November 22.

Arsenal’s come-back kid Jack Wilshere (20) opened the score-sheet, his first goal in almost two years, in the 49th minute after former Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud perfectly knock down a header into his path much to the delight of over 59,000‎ home fans at the Emirates. Podolski sealed the match with a scorching volley in the 67th minute. Olivier Giroud had an excellent game against his former club and was involved in setting up both Arsenal goals.

At Veltins-Arena, Schalke 04 beat Olympiakos Piraeus 1-0 with Christian Fuchs scoring the lone goal of the match for the German outfit. Both Schalke 04 and Arsenal qualify for the Round of 16 from Group B.

Rafael Benitez Named Chelsea FC Interim Manager

Former Liverpool FC and Inter Milan manager Rafael Benitez has been appointed interim manager of Chelsea FC after the recent sacking of Roberto Di Matteo.

The 52-year-old Spaniard will be in charge of Chelsea until the end of this current season and becomes the ninth Blues manager in nine years in Abramovich era. This is Benitez’s second spell at a Premier League club after a six-year stint at Liverpool (2004 to 2010).

Benitez won the coveted Champions League in his first season at Liverpool in 2005.

CL: Chelsea FC Thrashed 3-0 by Juventus at Turin; On Brink of Exit

Reigning European Champions Chelsea FC were humiliated 3-0 by Serie A leaders Juventus on match Day 5 of their Group E encounter at Juventus Stadium on November 21. Chelsea are now likely to become the first reigning champs to be knock-out from the group stage after this lost.

Roberto Di Matteo put up a very questionable starting line-up, with Daniel Sturridge out injured and Fernando Torres on the benched his attack was spearheaded by playmaker Eden Hazard. Juventus won the midfield game with Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo at the centre of all their play and restricting Chelsea to isolated counter-attacking only. Fabio Quagliarella scored the first goal of the night deflecting Andrea Pirlo shot in the 38 minute. Arturo Vidal doubled the lead for the Old Lady in the 61 minute and substitute Sebastian Giovinco completed the thrashing in the 90+1 minute.

In another Group E match played, Shakhtar Donetsk beat FC Nordsjaelland 5-2 to qualify for the knock-out stage. Shakhtar Donetsk still top Group E with 10 points followed by Juventus on 9 points and Chelsea FC on 7 points with one group-match left.

Chelsea's last group game is at home against FC Nordsjaelland but their chances of qualifying for the next stage are virtually out of their hands now.

CL: Chelsea FC vs Juventus; Man Utd vs Galatasaray on Nov. 21

Roberto Di Matteo's men will resume their Champions League defense after their shocking 2-1 EPL lost to West Brom in the weekend by traveling to Juventus Stadium to take on Italian giants Juventus in their Group E Day 5 match while Manchester United faces Turkish champions Galatasaray at Turk Telekom Arena on November 21.

Chelsea FC have won only once out of their 8 visits to Italy and will be with-out their inspirational captain John Terry while Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are doubtful. Andrea Pirlo will be available for the Old Lady after completing his suspension. Chelsea FC are just one point ahead of Juventus going into this crucial encounter.

While at Turk Telekom Arena, Sir Alex has opted to rest Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Antonio Valencia and Rio Ferdinand after having already qualified for the knockout stages from Group H. Danny Welbeck is expected to lead the attack for the Red Devils.

English actor Daniel Craig will be paid £31 million to play British spy James Bond in two more outings, making him the best-paid Bond to date.

Recently released Bond flick ‘Skyfall’ has already made more than £378 million at the box office so far. The 44-year-old actor was paid £10.7 million for Skyfall.

Roy Hodgson will be testing his squad-strength when the Three Lions take on Sweden at Friends Arena, Solna in an international friendly on November 15.
