La Liga: Morata’s Late Goal Helps Madrid Beat Levante 2-1

Los Blancos young forward Alvaro Morata (20) late header goal, his first ever goal for the Spanish giants, in the 84 minute helped Jose’s men beat Levante 2-1 at Ciudat de Valencia stadium in their Primera Division match on November 12 and stay in touching distance with La Liga topper Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the opening goal for the reigning champions but Levante's striker Angel equalized for the hosts midway through the second-half. Xavi Alonso missed from the spot but redeemed himself by setting up Morata’s goal with a superb free kick late in the match.

Real Madrid remained in third position and eight points behind of FC Barcelona.
