Robin van Persie scored twice to help Manchester United come from behind and beat Romanian champions CFR Cluj 2-1 at the Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu in their second Group H match of the Champions League on October 3, 2012.
This was the Dutchman seventh goal for the Red Devils since joining them for £24 million at the start of this season. Sir Alex made six changes from the lost to Tottenham at the weekend. In another Group E match played, reigning champions Chelsea FC comprehensively defeated Danish champions FC Nordsjaelland 4-0 at Parken-Kobenhavn with Spanish playmaker Juan Mata scoring a brace. David Luiz and Ramires were the other goal-scorers for Roberto Di Matteo’s side.
