T20 WC Warm-Up Match: Pakistan Beat India by 5 Wickets

Pakistan beat India by 5 wickets in a nail biting T20 World Cup Warm-Up Game in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sept. 17, 2012.

Pakistani hard-hitting batsman Kamran Akmal single-handedly won the match for Pakistan. He smashed 92 runs (not out) that included 6 sixes and 5 fours in 50 balls. Pakistan chased down the mammoth India target of 185 in 19.1 overs.

Earlier, India posted 185 for 3 in 20 overs, thanks to superb knocks by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Kohli made 75 runs (not out) and Rohit 56 runs. R Ashwin was the most successful bowlers for India who took 4 wickets.

The ICC Twenty20 World Cup will start on Sept. 18 with hosts Sri Lanka taking on Zimbabwe at Mahinda Rajapaksa Intrnational Cricket Stadium, Hambantota.
