International Kite Fest in Ahmedabad From Jan. 9–11

Gujarat Tourism will organize the annual International Kite Festival 2012 at Sabarmati River Front, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from Jan. 9–11, 2012 between 8 am and 5 pm.

Kite enthusiasts from all over the world will participate and show off their skills. A kite market will be held alongside that will feature food stalls, cultural performances and special kite displays at night, when illuminated kites- known as tukals- are flown.

Visitors are expected to come from UK, USA, Japan, Italy, Singapore, Canada, China, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, France and other countries.
