Renowned ghazal singer Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan is all set to perform live for a charity cause at Shanmukhananda Auditorium in Mumbai on June 8, 2012 from 7 pm onwards. His style and variations in singing ghazals has been noted as unique, as he blended with Hindustani Classical Music with ghazals, unlike any other Ghazal singer. Many of his hit ghazals have been used in Bollywood movies.
His famous ghazals are “Chup Ke Chup ke,” “Kal Chaudvin ki Raat,” “Hungama Hai Kyun Berpa,” “Kiya Hai Pyaar Jise,” “Main Nazar Se Pee Raha Hoon,” “Mastana Peeye,” “Ye Dil Ye Pagal Dil,” “Apni Dhun Mein.”
The proceeds from this concert (Rs 100 per ticket sold) will be contributed to the Cancer Aid %26 Research Foundation.
The tickets for Ghulam Ali Live in Concert-Ek Ehsaas range from Rs 699 to Rs 2999.
