Darjeeling to Host Metal Fest ‘New World Order Festival’ on June 24

Darjeeling, also known as the “Queen of the hills”, is all set to host a metal fest called ‘New World Order Festival’ at Capitol Hall on June 24, 2012. The festival is being organized by a collective of metalheads who call themselves the Psychedelic Faction.

The fest lineup bands are:

Grungy Morphins
Sinister Violence
Sycorax
Circle’s End
Head Motif
2 Point 4 Three
If Hope Dies
Malevolent Bloodshed
When Stories End

The main attraction band is the “Gorkha metal” band Grungy Morphins, who are gaining quite a reputation for their aggressive sounds. Grungy Morphins have just recently booked slots at the Foothills Gutfest in Colorado, US and the Metal Crowd Festival in Belarus. The band is also planning to release a full-length studio album by the end of 2012 or by early 2013.
