Samsung to Launch Galaxy Tab 2 in India This Week

Samsung is all set to officially launch their 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 in India this week. There is no information on the date of the launch of Galaxy Tab 2 in India, however, it is expected to hit the racks this week.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is expected to be priced at Rs 23,250, while select retailers have already started selling it for Rs 19,500. Company's official online store has also started taking pre-bookings for the tablet.

Originally show-cased at Mobile World Congress, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 aka 310 features Android 4.0, 1GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, and 7-inch PLS display with 1024x600p resolution. The tablet also comes with 3MP rear camera, front camera, 3G and voice-calling support.

This is the sixth Android tablet from the company to be released in the Indian market; other five being original Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 750, 730, 680 and 620.
