The global festival on Ayurveda will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from Feb. 9–14, 2012. The event will see participation of more than 2,500 practitioners of ayurveda and students from various colleges.
More than 120 papers will be presented and 17 ayurveda colleges in Kerala will set up stalls during the six-day event. There will be clinics too that will provide free consultations.
Recognized practitioners of ayurveda will speak on various facets of the traditional form of medicine at the fest, which will bring potential importers and traders together, and a job fair will be held for ayurveda doctors, therapists, pharmacists and nurses.
The event will also have an exhibition of medicinal plants, aimed at spreading awareness about them.
