Sufi Music Fest Kicks off in Delhi; Abida Parveen, Ali Zafar to Perform

Delhi is set to witness national and international singers like Abida Parveen, Ali Zafar, Hans Raj Hans and Murad Ali, Andrea Griminelli (Italian flautist) as well as some emerging talents at the Sufi music festival. The three-day Sufi festival will begin on March 2 at the Humayun's Tomb in New Delhi and will conclude on March 4.

The singers will come together and render timeless mystic poetry of legendary poets and saints, at Sufi music festival ‘Jahan-e-Khusrau.’
The festival in its 10th year has been designed and directed by film maker and artiste Muzaffar Ali. Presented by Rumi Foundation, the event hosts singers, dancers and musicians of the Sufi traditions from all over the world and also serves as a platform for emerging singers and practitioners of classical and modern dance form with Sufiana music.
