Delhi Metro’s photo exhibitions inaugurated at the Metro Museum at Patel Chowk metro station and six other stations across Delhi on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. The exhibitions have organized as part of celebrations to mark the third anniversary of the Metro Museum.
The stations where exhibitions will remain on display for a month are Patel Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Central Secretariat, INA, JLN Stadium and Akshardham.
The Metro Museum, the first of its kind in South Asia, was inaugurated on January 1, 2009. It houses display panels, historical photographs and exhibits about the Metro, and traces the genesis of the Delhi Metro.
