Japanese Automobile manufacturer Honda launched a new variant of its mid-size Sedan City, priced between Rs 6.99 lakh and Rs 10.22 lakh in India on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011.
The car is powered by a 1.5 litre, four cylinder i-VTEC engine, which delivers a 118 PS power along with a fuel economy of 16.8 km per litre.
The booking for the new entry-level variant has started but deliveries would begin only in January, 2012.
The new sedan will come in five grades, ranging from corporate, E, S, V MT/AT and V (sunroof) MT/AT types. The grade V of the segment that comes with a sunroof has been introduced for the first time.
The sedan, which was launched in 1998, has sold nearly 3.76 lakh units in the Indian market.
