Ravi Shankar, Anoushka to Perform in Bangalore on Feb. 7

Legendary Indian sitarist Pandit Ravi Shankar will perform with his younger daughter and protégé Anoushka Shankar at the seventh Premaanjali Festival in Bangalore. The concert will be held on February 7, 2012 at Palace Grounds in Bangalore.

The musical concert titled ‘Farewell to Bangalore’ is stated to be the virtuoso Pt Shankar’s last performance in the city, as per the organizers.

At the age of 92 the legend is the recipient of innumerable awards and with Anoushka Shankar the concert offers classical music fans once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness the two maestros perform.
