The Dolphin Experience will host a two-day workshop in conjunction with the International Marine Animal Trainers Association (IMATA) in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas.
The conference will take place on March 17 and March 18, 2012, and will focus on "Dolphin Interactive Training" and "The benefits of Open Ocean Training & Straight-line Swimming."
The annual Regional Workshop will bring dedicated international trainers to the Dolphin Experience in Grand Bahama, which is one of only three facilities where Open Ocean Training is performed worldwide. Attendees will have the opportunity to spend time visiting The Dolphin Experience training facilities and participate in open ocean training sessions.
Located in a nine acre lagoon, The Dolphin Experience is one of the most popular tourist destinations while visiting Grand Bahama and is open seven days a week offering dolphin swims, dolphin encounters, open ocean dolphin swims and assistant trainer programs.
