Chattanooga Attorney McCallie Wins US Conservation Award

Chattanooga attorney Allen McCallie has been honored with a national conservation award. McCallie has helped create public parks around Chattanooga—Tennessee’s fourth-largest city—for 15 years.

McCallie helped open spaces as a volunteer and attorney with the Trust for Public Land. Some of those spaces include the Tennessee Riverwalk, the South and North Chickamauga Creek greenways, Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park and Stringer's Ridge Park.

McCallie also has supported the development of the Aetna Mountain wildlife management area, the Tennessee River Gorge and the Lula Lake trail system.
