To captivate the heart of thousands and as a part of Delhi Celebrates—the ongoing string of cultural festivals in the capital, Punjabi Academy will be organizing the Qutub Festival 2011 at Qutub Complex, Qutub Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi.
Department of Art, Culture and Languages, Govt. of Delhi shall be presenting the enchanting musical event on five days from Nov. 4 to Nov. 8, 2011 at the venue 7 pm onwards.
Participating in the Qutub Festival 2011 will be Bollywood’s sensational and popular singers—Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh and KK.
The schedule of this musical extravaganza is as follows:
November 4, 2011—Sunidhi Chauhan
November 5, 2011—Sonu Nigam
November 6, 2011—Shreya Ghoshal
November 7, 2011—Sukhwinder

This will be the second time that the capital shall witness the signature music festival of Delhi Tourism, Govt. of Delhi in a nouveau format at the fascinating Qutub Minar. Prior to 2010, the Qutub festival used to focus on Sufi and classical music and dance. Since last year, the format of the festival has been changed and now, contemporary music is also being celebrated.
Entry to this riveting musical feast will be through free-of-cost passes that can be availed from the following places: Dilli Haat (INA), Dilli Haat (Pitampura), Delhi Tourism Office (Baba Khadak Singh Marg) and Punjabi Academy (DDA, Community Centre, Motia Khan, Pahar Ganj).
