CL: RvP Scores Again in Man Utd 3-1 Win Over Braga

Goals from Robin van Persie, Rooney and Chicharito in the last 10 minutes of the match gave Manchester United a 3-1 win over Braga at Estadio Axa in their Group H match on November 8 sending Sir Alex’s men into the knock-out stage of the Champions League.

Braga led the match till the 80 minute after Alan converted a penalty for the hosts in the 49 minute but were simply outplayed and outwitted by a more experience and talented English side in the latter part of the match. Van Persie started on the bench with Sir Alex opting for Danny Welbeck and Chicharito pairing up front. Braga coach Jose Peseiro selected the same side that played at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are now through to the knock-out stage from Group H with this win while Braga sits at the bottom.
