CL: Man City to Take on Borussia Dortmund; Madrid vs Ajax on Oct. 4

English Champions Manchester City will take on Germany’s Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium while Real Madrid faces Dutch side Ajax FC at Amsterdam Arena in Champions League’s Group D matches. Both matches are scheduled to take place on October 4, 2012.

Roberto Mancini's side are undefeated at the Etihad Stadium in their last 17 European matches and will be keen to extend it when they face the German’s side. City and Dortmund have never met in a competitive match. Meanwhile Jose’s men go into the match after thrashing Deportivo La Coruna 5-1 in their last Primera match. Los Blancos’ have beaten Ajax FC home and away in each of the last two Champions League seasons.
