Manchester United’s Nemanja Vidic Ruled Out for 8 Weeks

Sir Alex Ferguson has a major problem with his defense now, United captain and defender Nemanja Vidic has been ruled out for 8 weeks following an operation on his right knee.

The 30-year-old Serbian had just battled back to full fitness and started in five games after he suffered ligament damage last season.

Manchester United are already missing defenders Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Rio Ferdinand through various injuries.
