Avril Lavigne to Wed Nickelback Vocalist Chad Kroger

Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne (27), who broke onto the music scene with her debut album “Let Go” in 2002, is all set to walk down the aisle again. Her representative has confirmed that the “Complicated” singer and rock band Nickelback frontman Chad Kroger (37) are now engaged following a six-month romance.

Despite the ten year age gap, the couple have found love after uniting in February to co-write a song for Avril's upcoming fifth studio album - the follow up to her 2011's Goodbye Lullaby. Chad is believed to popped the question on August 8, with a 14-carat diamond rock.

This will be the second marriage for Grammy-nominee Avril. She married Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley in July 2006 at the tender age of 21. She filed for divorce a little more than three years later.
