Delhi Schools’ Summer Vacations Extended Till July 8

The Delhi government directed all its schools to extend summer vacation by a week in view of the scorching heat. The schools were to reopen on July 2 but will now open on July 9, 2012.

Directions have been issued by Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely to all government schools to remain shut till July 8, an official said.
