The fourth reboot in the Spider-Man franchise produced by Columbia Pictures is directed by Marc Webb and will see actor Andrew Garfield (of The Social Network famed) playing the new Spider-man and Rhys Ifans as ‘The Lizard,’ his nemesis.
The cast also includes Hollywood beauty Emma Stone and Indian actor Irrfan Khan.
The movie, to be released in 3D and in IMAX 3D, was earlier slated for July 3 release worldwide. But keeping in mind the high box-office collection on weekends, we decided to release in India on June 29, said a Sony Pictures spokesperson.
