About 120 students of Journalism from various parts of Kerala will participate in a media workshop beginning in Kozhikode, Kerala from May 4-5, 2012.
Columnist TJS George would inaugurate the two-day event organized by the Kerala Press Academy (KPA) in association with Calicut Press Club, KPA Chairman NP Rajendran.
Chief of Kerala Bureaus of the Hindu Gauridasan Nair, Frontline Deputy Editor Venkitesh Ramakrishnan and Dr Vinod Bhattathirppad would take classes on 'Media, Society and Politics,' 'Rural Reporting,' and 'Cyber Crimes,' respectively on May 4.
The participants would interact with Malayala Manorama Editorial Director Thomas Jacob, Mathrubhumi Editor M Kesava Menon, Venkitesh Ramakrishnan 'Reporter' Chief Editor M V Nikesh Kumar.
India Vision Executive Editor MP Basheer, well-known media personalities Dr Sebastian Paul, Ammu Joseph and Mahesh Mangalat would speak on different topics on May 5.
