Chelsea to Play Against PSG at New Yankee Stadium, NY on July 22

Newly crowned FA Cup winners Chelsea will play against French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the new Yankee Stadium in New York on July 22, 2012 as part of a pre-season tour of the United States. PSG is currently managed by axed Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti, who was controversially sacked at the end of last season. Chelsea have not played in New York since 1954.

Chelsea will also play against the Seattle Sounders at Century Link Field on July 18 and MLS All Stars at PPL Park, Philadelphia, on July 25. Blues' final fixture will be against Italian giants AC Milan at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on July 28.

According to sources, Chelsea are set to offer Didier Drogba (34) a new contract. The Ivorian striker has already rejected a new one-year deal on his current salary of £100,000-a-week. Drogba’s Chelsea contract ends this summer.
