Dragonair to Start Kolkata-Hong Kong Flights

International air carrier Dragonair, a part of Cathay Pacific Group, will launch a new service between Hong Kong and Kolkata, the company announced on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

The service to Kolkata will commence by the winter of 2012 with four flights a week operated by an Airbus A320, said Tom Wright, the company's general manager for South Asia, Middle East and Africa.

The Hong Kong-based airline now operates a daily service to Bangalore. Kolkata will be the seventh destination to be launched or resumed by the carrier this year.
