Technology major Hewlett-Packard (HP) launched a new range of servers that will help its clients to manage their IT resources better and lower their energy costs.HP ProLiant Generation 8 are self-sufficient servers with automation and repair features that will help in increasing performance, reduce energy consumption and allow faster resolution of problems, HP India Director ISS Business Unit (Enterprise Business) Vikram K told said.
The Gen8 has already been deployed by companies like Nokia Siemens Networks, BT, United Airlines and Accenture.
The company is targeting sectors like banking, telecom, manufacturing and PSUs for the new servers.
