Iqbal Maidan Holds 'Azaan' Competition in Bhopal

A unique prayer competition called 'Azaan' (a call for Namaaz) was held at the historic Iqbal Maidan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

In this contest, around 20 participants out of 154 were chosen for the final competition and out of them six were adjudged as winners in the age groups of below and above 15 years of age.

The winners were given a prize of Rs 7000, 4000 and 3000 respectively. Rs 1000 each was given to all 14 participants of both the age groups by the newly elected Shahar Qazi Bhopal, Maulana Syed Mushtaque Ali Nadvi sahab in the presence of Shahar Mufti Maulana Abul Kalam Qasmi and Naib Shahar Qazi Syed Babar Hussain.
