MADD Michigan Hosts Legal Rights Seminar

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) of Michigan and sponsor Buckfire and Buckfire, P.C., are hosting a free public presentation designed to inform people of their legal rights after a Michigan car crash.

The session will begin at the MADD Michigan Office in Troy on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at 6 pm. The seminar will include information about Michigan’s no-fault laws, insurance coverage, knowing your rights after being involved in a drunken driving crash and free services provided to victims and survivors by MADD.

The session will be the first one of the year for MADD Michigan. The public can attend, but they are asked to RSVP at 248-528-1745, Ext. 2651.

In 2010, nearly 11,000 people were killed nationally in drunken driving crashes. In Michigan alone, more than 200 people were killed and 5,000 were injured in crashes involving drivers with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or higher.
