India’s leading IT & software company HCL Technologies has bagged an infrastructure management services deal from Norway-based energy firm Statoil on Feb. 13, 2012. No financial details were disclosed.
HCL will deliver services across 36 countries, handling the end-to-end monitoring and management of Statoil's entire IT infrastructure across all global locations, including offshore production sites.
The engagement includes managing computers, storage, database and telecom (network and security) environments along with desktop support.
Statoil is a leading oil company whose biggest activities are located in Norway, with corporate functions both in Stavanger and Oslo.
