The Grand Hyatt in Panaji is set to witness the second edition of the Goa International Travel Mart (GITM) that will run through October 21–23, 2011.
This three-day trade event will showcase Goa's hinterland, culture, cuisine and other unknown aspects under the theme "Unearth the hidden treasures of Goa."
About 80 tourism service providers from Goa will showcase their services to over 400 buyers from 28 countries including USA, UK, Singapore, South Africa, Japan, France, Malaysia and the Middle East.
All major travel associations from India are participating in the event and over 1,500 visitors are expected to come.
Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual and Transexual (LGBT) tourism as an emerging trend will also be discussed at the GITM.
