Bihar: 3-day Rajgir Fest From Dec. 27–29

Bihar tourism department has organized a three-day 'Rajgir Mahotsav-2011' from December 27–29, 2011 at Rajgir, Bihar. The festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

On the first day, famous ghazal singers Roop Kumar Rathod and Sonali Rathod will electrify the visitors with their splendid renditions. Prince dance troupe, winners of TV program 'India's Got Talent,' first season, will give the inaugural performance on 'Tiranga theme.'

The mesmerizing performance of legendary Bollywood singer Alka Yagnik will take place on the second day. The third and concluding day will be reserved for performances by folk artistes from Bihar.

Besides, Bipin Kumar, Ashok Chakradhar, Chetan Rana, Satyendra Kumar, Manoranjan Ojha, Jagat Pathak, Swrangan, Aishwarya Nigam and folk artistes will make this annual mega festival vibrant with their extraordinary performances.

In addition, the event will showcase several cultural aspects of Bihar like 'palki sajja,' 'tanga sajja,' 'kisan shree mela,' 'gram shree mela,' 'sarva dharma manglacharan, 'mahila mahotsav' etc.
