Delhi Hosts First Argentinean Tango Festival in India From Nov. 25-27

The first Argentinian Tango festival in India will be held at Capitol, Hotel Ashok in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi from Nov. 25-27, 2011.

The Tango festival has been organized by 2ToTango, which is the most popular Tango dance school in New Delhi founded by the renowned dancers Late Kiran Kalunauria and Rakesh Borar.

The three day festival will be preceded by eight days of workshops (Nov. 18-25) by guest faculties from Ukraine- The ever so popular Sergiy Shuliko and Sana Yesilevskaya. The festival will witness some dazzling performances, milongas and after parties with eclectic mix of the creme de la creme of the Delhi circuit.

The festival will provide a wide variety of Tango music from Classics of Sarli, D'Arienzo to Fracis Canaro to more experimental Piazollo, Troilo, Pugliese, and other modern music of Gotan Project and the beautiful rhythmic Vals's.

Fees for workshop are Rs 600 per class and the duration will be of 1.30 hour followed by 30 min practical. The buffet at the festival will cost Rs. 550 per person.
