Tabla legend Zakir Hussain will release acclaimed sitar player Ravi Chary’s debut world musical album, on January 16, 2012 in Mumbai. Zakir Hussain and 17 music stalwarts have collaborated with Chary in the making of the album.
The launch will also witness an Indo Jazz concert featuring the musicians who have contributed for the album. Indian percussionist Ustad Trilok Gurtu will be the guest of honor.
Other artistes who have collaborated with Chary include Ranjit Barot, Sivamani, Louiz Banks, Taufiq Qureshi, Fazal Qureshi, Aditya Kalyanur, Gino Banks, Sheldon D'Silva and more.
The Mumbai launch will be followed by the album launch in Goa, Pune, Nasik, Delhi, Kolkata and various other places.
