Over 2600 world known politicians and business leaders are expected to participate in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in the Swiss ski resort of Davos, Switzerland from January 25–27, 2012.
Royalty from Saudi Arabia, Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands, billionaires like philanthropist George Soros, senior executives from Facebook, Google and other tech giants, and the presidents of Germany, Brazil, South Africa, Israel, Mexico, and the world's youngest nation, South Sudan will gather during the 3-day mega event.
Hyderabad-based firm Mahindra Satyam, India’s leading global consulting and IT services provider, will also participate in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting.
Admission is free for heads of state, civil society or faith leaders and international organizations. Others have to pay a $20,000 price tag for admission plus other costs, which can easily push the bill to $40,000.
