The multi-Grammy winning jazz vocal group, The Manhattan Transfer, will celebrate their 40th anniversary in the entertainment industry by performing live at the Blue Note, West Village, New York, United states on Dec. 11, 2011 between 8 pm and 10.30 pm.
Celebrating their 40th anniversary, they'll perform songs from their upcoming album “The Chick Corea Songbook,” which is inspired by the classic work of jazz legend, Chick Corea.
The Manhattan Transfer famous hits include "Birdland" and "The Boy from New York City," and their 1985 album “Vocalese” received twelve Grammy nominations, the second-most in history.
