Delhi: 11th International Children's Fest Concludes on Dec. 11

The 11th International Children’s Festival and arts exhibition began on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.

Union civil aviation minister Vayalar Ravi inaugurated the festival. The festival was themed ‘World is My Playground.’

Over 5,000 children from India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Poland, Switzerland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Slovenia, Turkey, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe and other countries participated in the festival.

The four-day festival was held at five venues in the national capital and concluded on Sunday, December 11.
