The second edition of the Hay Festival will begin in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from Nov. 17-19, 2011. It’s a three-day cultural festival featuring poets, storytellers, novelists, journalists and filmmakers from around the Indian states.
The highlight of this year's edition will be presentations of various poetic works from across the globe and a Poetry Gala with K. Satchidanandan, Simon Armitage, Twm Morys, Anupama Raju, Eurig Salisbury and others.
The festival will also present a more eclectic and evolving programming with events on films, cosmology, children's literature, media and the socio-political scenario and medicine, apart from offerings of regional and world literature.
Entry to the festival is free.
