IPL 6 Auction on Feb. 3; Over 37 Players up for Grabs

The auction of the players for the Indian Premier League (IPL), season six has been re-scheduled on Feb. 3, 2013. Earlier, it was announced that auction will be held on Jan. 12.

Sundar Raman, CEO of IPL tweeted in his micro blogging site that the auction will start on Feb. 3, but the auction venue was still undecided. The representatives of franchise were informed the auction will be held in a metro city. The auction is expected to see 37 cricketers going under the hammer.

IPL Season 6 will kick-start on April 3 and the finals will be played on May 26. The first match was scheduled to play between the current champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils on April 3 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The finals of IPL 6 will be played at the same venue on May 26.
