EFT Report, London: England international Ashley Cole, considered by many as one of the best left-back, has put his future speculation to rest by signing a one-year £200,000-a-week Chelsea FC contract extension to become the world highest paid defender.
Chelsea FC signed the 32-year-old from Arsenal FC in 2006 for £5 million, with Frenchman William Gallas being transferred from Chelsea to Arsenal as part of the transfer deal.
