Nine Delhi Metro Stations Shut on Dec. 24

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said nine metro stations would remain closed on Monday (Dec. 24, 2012) after protests in central Delhi turned violent on Sunday.

Entry and exit of commuters at metro stations in Pragati Maidan, Mandi House, Barakhamba Road, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhavan, Race Course, and Khan Market, will not be allowed, till further notice.

However, interchange will be allowed at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat.
