EPL: Everton’s Fellaini Likely to Get 9-Match Ban for Head-Butting Stoke’s Shawcross

Everton FC star Marouane Fellaini is likely to get a maximum of 9-match ban for headbutting Stoke City skipper Ryan Shawcross during their EPL encounter played at the Britannia Stadium on December 15. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

More trouble awaits for the 25-year-old Belgium playmaker, as Everton FC are also set to imposed a fine of two weeks wages (£150,000) for the ugly incident.

English football governing body, the FA will review TV footage of the match and are likely to hit Fellaini with a three-match suspension at the very least.
