Champions League T20 Qualifiers Starts in South Africa

After less than 48-hours of seeing the West Indies players do the ‘Gangnam Style’ dance after wining the T20 World Cup, Twenty 20 cricket is back. The 2012 edition of Champions League T20 qualifying rounds kicks-off on October 9, 2012 with Sri Lanka's Uva Next taking on English county Yorkshire at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

Six teams will be competing to make their entry into the main tournament. The teams have been segregated into two groups with the top team from each group advancing to the main competition.

Group A consists of NZ's Auckland Aces, England's Hampshire and Pakistan's Sialkot Stallions while Group B comprises of Trinidad & Tobago, Uva and Yorkshire.

The main tournament starts from October 13 with current IPL champs KKR taking on Delhi Daredevils.
