UEFA CL: Chelsea Held 2-2 by Juventus; Man Utd Beat Galatasaray 1-0

European champions Chelsea gave away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Juventus at Stamford Bridge in their Group E opening match.

New £25 million signing, Brazilian playmaker Oscar’s brace in the first half saw Chelsea beginning their title defense on the right note. Oscar’s second goal, a stunning right-foot shot was a ‘rare beauty’. Oscar (21) made his Chelsea’s Champions League debut ahead of Juan Mata in the central playmaker role just behind striker Fernando Torres. Juventus came back into the match with goals from Arturo Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella in the 38th and 80th minute.

In a Group H match played, Michael Carrick’s goal in the 7th minute was enough to give Manchester United a 1-0 win over Galatasaray at Old Trafford. Darren Fletcher made an emotional come-back, the 28-year-old Scotland international hasn't played since November 2011, after a career-threatening illness.
