Sundaram Business Services, the BPO division of non-banking finance company, Sundaram Finance, announced its foray into the UK.
Sundaram Business Services has already forayed into Australia to encash the opportunities in the BPO industry. The UK market is its second International destination in the BPO space.
In the UK, Sundaram Business Services would offer services in fund accounting and equity research support to mid-sized accounting firms, broking houses and hospitality companies, a company statement said.
Sundaram Business Services is in talks with potential customers in the accounting space, it said.
Noting that there are about 3,000 accounting firms in the UK, considered the second biggest BPO market after the US, the statement said, “the company believes that there is a huge potential to be tapped.”
“We believe that there exists a substantial market for our service offerings in the UK and we are confident of replicating the Australian success with our customers in the UK,” Sundaram Business Services, CEO, Rajesh Venkat, said.
