Mahindra to Launch SUV ‘Rexton’ Before Diwali

India’s leading automobile manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra will launch sports utility vehicle (SUV) Rexton from Ssangyong in India before Diwali. This is positioned at a segment higher than XUV 500.

The automotive major plans to invest up to Rs 1,500 crore on product development jointly by M&M and Ssangyong over the next three years, Pavan Goenka, President, Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors, M&M, said.

He said that the company plans to commission its new manufacturing facility for tractors at Zaheerabad in Andhra Pradesh by December.
