Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj to Perform at 2012 VMAs on Sept. 6

US rapper Lil Wayne and his protégé Nicki Minaj will be performing at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards at the Staples Center arena in Los Angeles on September 6, 2012. Comedian/actor Kevin Hart is the host for this year’s edition.

Rihana, with five nominations this year, will kick start the star studded event. Canadian rapper Drake has five nominations, while Katy Perry and Beyoncé received four each.

Confirmed presenters include the Wanted, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and the "Fierce Five,” the 2012 Olympic gold medal-winning US Women's Gymnastics Team.
