Champions League: Chelsea to Take on Juventus on Sept. 20

Reigning European Champions Chelsea will start their title defence against Italian champions Juventus at Stamford Bridge in Group E opening match on September 20, 2012.

Blues inspirational captain John Terry and Ashley Cole are both expected to start against the Old Lady. Di Matteo will also welcome back playmaker Juan Mata, who missed the 0-0 draw against QPR at the weekend. Juventus, who are on a 42-match unbeaten streak in Serie A, currently leads the Serie A points table going into this match. Gianluigi Buffon will be making his 400th appearance for the Old Lady if he plays tonight.

In a Group H match, Manchester United will host Turkey’s Galatasaray at Old Trafford.
