UEFA Super Cup: Chelsea FC Vs Atlético Madrid on Aug. 31

Champions League holders English club Chelsea will take-on Europa League winners Spain’s Atletico Madrid in UEFA Super Cup 2012 final at the Stade Louis II in Monaco on August 31, 2012.

This will be Chelsea’s second appearance in the annual showpiece having won the trophy in 1998 as UEFA Cup Winners' Cup winners. Atlético Madrid were also victorious on their only UEFA Super Cup appearance, winning the 2010 edition by beating Italy’s FC Internazionale 2-0.

The 2013 edition of UEFA Super Cup will be played at Eden Stadium in Prague.
