Olympics: India’s Saina Nehwal in Semi-Final

Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal (22) has defeated Tine Baun of Denmark 21-15, 22-20 in the Quarter-Final of the London Olympic and sealed a spot in the semis of the women’s singles badminton event today. The match lasted 39 minutes with the Indian saving three game points in the second set.

Saina, seeded 4, next opponent is Chinese Yihan Wang, the top seed.
